It has actually been quite some time since we had some Terminator news for you guys to chow down on, but today we deliver. Although nothing is confirmed at this time, it is definitely pointing towards a confirmed director for the next film(s) in the Terminator franchise.
According to Variety, Alan Taylor (“Game of Thrones”, Thor: The Dark World) is currently in talks to direct the next Terminator film for Skydance Productions, Paramount and Annapurna Pictures.
Terminator 5 is said to be the first in a planned stand alone trilogy.
Arnold Schwarzenegger will once again return to the fold, but it is still unclear as to what capacity he will be involved. Also, plot details are still under wraps.
The film has been set for release this June 26, 2015, but as you know, that could change at a drop of a hat.
