Former Guns 'n Roses guitarist Slash is partnering with Fandango to launch a new micro-site called House of Screams, devoted to exploring the scariest moments in horror movie history and selling tickets to the latest horror flicks hitting theaters.
According to The Wrap, Slash will also co-host a horror mini-series for the site (along with Fandango correspondent Tiffany Smith) called Slash's Screamings. These videos will look at new and upcoming horror films like the Carrie remake and All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, in addition to Nothing Left to Fear, which Slash himself is backing through his production company Slasher Films.
In keeping with the new horror theme, Smith will also host a segment called Behind the Screams, an examination of the special effects and backstage secrets behind Universal Studios' classic creature features.
To get the word out about House of Screams, Fandango has set up a new Facebook application called Fear Face-Off: 13 Days of Psychos, which pits horror icons like Freddy, Jason, Leatherface and Norman Bates against one another in order to find the ultimate winner.
