Recently, Zach Galligan (Gremlins, Hatchet III) took to Twitter to announce that he has landed a role in the adaptation of The Cage.
So my next film role, which begins shooting in February of 2014 in Los Angeles, will be…. - the role of Simon in the film adaptation of Brian Keene’s THE CAGE. And I have you, Twitter people, to thank for getting this badass role.
Galligan will star alongside Damian Maffei, Hannah Fierman, and Megan Duffy.
Synopsis: For the employees of Big Bill’s Home Electronics, it’s just the end of another long workday-until a gunman bursts into the store and begins shooting. Now, with some of their co-workers dead, the hostages are disappearing one-by-one, and if they want to survive the night, they’ll have to escape… THE CAGE.
