Paramount Pictures and director Alan Taylor have official cast Jai Courtney in the role of Kyle Reese in Terminator: Genesis. He wasn't my top choice for the part, but it's not surprising that they gave it to him. Other actors up for the role included Boyd Holbrook (The Host), Tom Cocquerel, Wilson Bethel (Heart of Dixie), and Sam Reid (Hatfields and McCoys).
Courtney will join Arnold Schwarzenegger, Game Of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, and Zero Dark Thirty’s Jason Clarke as her son, John Connor.
The this is the first film in what is supposed to be a new trilogy, and it will end the story James Cameron started about Skynet’s battle with the resistance.
