We've got an incredibly well-made and nightmarish stop-motion animated short called "Pluto and the Vessel." It was directed by Harrison Browning, and the story, cinematography, lighting, and sound design are all incredible. It has a very Stanley Kubrickish and The Thing type of feel to it
