Actor Harold Ramis, known for the role of Dr. Egon Spengler in the 1980s classic Ghsotbusters, has passed away. He was 69 years old. According to Yahoo, the actor/director died Monday (Feb. 24) from complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, a rare disease that involves swelling of the blood vessels.
In 2010 Ramis began having health problems following an infection that ultimately caused his rare condition.
