Deadline has learned that Keanu Reeves and Eli Roth will be teaming up on a “pyschosexual thriller” called “Knock Knock.”
Roth revealed the details to Fleming at Deadline saying that he “wanted to make a movie like Roman Polanski or Paul Verhoeven made when they were young, a classic psychosexual thriller that’s not a horror movie, but would have everyone on the edge of their seats.”
“Knock Knock” will star Keanu Reeves as a family man with a happy marriage who is left home alone for the weekend. During which, two beautiful girls arrive at his house and psychosexual thrills ensue. The girls will be played by Ana de Armas (“Blind Alley”) and Lorenza Izzo (“Green Inferno”). A few other “Green Inferno” alums will play roles in the film, including Ignacia Allamand as Keanu’s wife and Aaron Burns who played Jonah in “Green Inferno.”
Roth wrote the film with “Green Inferno” collaborators Nicolas Lopez and Guillermo Amoedo. Filming is expected to start soon with Roth saying that he could have the film ready for the Toronto International Film Festival.
