Abiogenesis is a wonderful CG animated sci-fi short that follows a strange mechanical device that lands on a desolate world. It uses the planet to undergo a startling transformation, and that transformation has profound implications for an entire galaxy. It's a really interesting concept and the visuals are beautiful.The short was directed by Richard Mans.
