UNDERWORLD Is Getting Rebooted

After four films the Underworld franchise is getting a reboot. All the films combined have grossed $450 million. All of them have been fairly profitable thanks to modest budgets. With the cast not wanting to return, Sony/Screen Gems really have no other option. I’ve always enjoyed the Underworld movies despite the uneven storytelling and lack of a coherent overall story. I think there is some real potential to clean up and expand the world. Vampires versus werwolves is just too cool let die. Source THR
