Oprah Winfrey may need to develop a pimp hand soon. According to reports, the billionaire mogul will portray Richard Pryor’s grandmother Marie Carter in the upcoming biopic about the late comedian.
Pryor was raised by his grandmother, whom was a madam of a whorehouse in Pryor’s birthplace of Peoria, Illinois. Pryor’s mother,m Gertrude Pryor, was a prostitute in his grandmother’s brothel.
Winfrey released a picture on her personal Instagram account of herself, director Lee Daniels and Mike Epps with the caption “‘@theoriginalbigdaddy , @eppsie , and me just finished a great 1st read session. #RichardPryorMovie ”.
