Warner Bros. has released two new clips from the Extended Edition of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Each one features new footage from the film that will be included in the extended cut. The first clip features Beorn (Mikael Persbrandt) asking Gandalf (Ian McKellen) if the rumors of the sighting of "the dead" in the mountains are true. The second clip is a scene with Gandalf and Thorin (Richard Armitage). The extended Blu-ray cut contains 25 extra minutes not seen in theaters and over nine hours of bonus features. It is set to be released on November 4th.
