Despite the release date having been pushed back nearly a year, it seems like the promotion is rolling out smoothly for the February 1st, 2013 release of director Walter Hill's upcoming adaptation of Bullet to the Head.
This new international trailer provides a little more insight into Jason Momoa's character. The movie stars Sylvester Stallone as a New Orleans hitman who teams up with a New York City detective, played by Sung Kang, in order to exact revenge after both of their partners are viciously murdered by a former mercenary (Momoa.) The movie also stars Sarah Shahi, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christian Slater, and Holt McCallany.
I used to think Stallone just mumbled his words, but his voice has gotten so low now that he's older, that it seems to exist on some frequency my ears can no longer hear over the countless explosions. Seriously, that's not a joke. What the heck is he saying? That aside, I'm loving the comedic chemistry between Stallone and Kang, and the action looks great as well! I could do without the whole kidnapped daughter thing though, that seems a little cliche.
