It has been 35 years since the horror movie classic The Amityville Horror was released in theaters. In 2005 we got a remake that starred Ryan Reynolds, which wasn't very good. Now we have a new mediocre vision of the Amityville haunted house coming out soon called Amityville: The Awakening. Believe it or not, this is 12th film in the series, many of which have been released directly to DVD.
Dimension Films plans a theatrical release for this one, and it will come out on January 2nd, 2015.
