The thing is, i always thought Freddy was killed in his own home on Elm Street.... That`s one of the reasons that house or that street was haunted by him? Someone enlighten me please

nah freddy used to kil the kids at his house in the basement.. the reason his house was haunted n what not was cuz not only is that he site where he killed the kids.. but the dumb ass parents buried his remains and gloves in the boiler in the basement.. hence y he always attacked from elm street

I still remember being like 6 or 7 and seeing it for the first time.I was scared as hell going to be that night..lol No other movie ever effected me that way again.

robert englund actually bitched about not bieng offered the part and when he was finally offered the part of "burnt up" freddy he actually turned it down.. i was very disappointed

love the original movie. it seems all my favourite horror movies are being remade. halloween, friday the 13th and so on. bit dissapointed robert englund isn't freddy but what can you do. no matter how many remakes/sequels you're gonna make, robert englund will always be freddy krueger. will definetly check this out. i hope they do not remake candyman, that film had me scarred for years, lol my sister use to say his name in the mirror and lock me in my mothers bedroom infront of a big ass mirror, brb going smacking her lol joke.

Halloween was a fantastic remake but it a shame they didn't use all scenes of the workprint
Friday the 13th is a mix between of remake, part 2 and a new beginning ..was a good remake too.
My Bloody Valentine 3D : the beginning was great but did they changed the story? .... I only saw few parts of the original version.

i dont really like the halloween remake. the original is perfect, it was much scarier when michael myers had no motive other than being a pyschotic dude. only in the sequel did they add michael as being lauries brother. the writers just made that plotline because they couldnt come up with anything else. making michael into some hulked out wrestler was just ridicolous. the original doesnt show one bit of blood/gore. its all about the tension for me. didnt the workprint have the unneeded rape scene?
