^^ i respect them cause they are artists!

BUT THEY ARE BAD CAUSE THE MUSIC IS BAD!! and this is a different style of music!!! they make wannabe rap music, and beyonce makes real r&b soul music!! you can't compare this type of music!

Beyonce is Real!!! and they are FAKE

the thing is though, they are not respected in their own music genre, excluding timberland but he is a nob.

Where as Beyonce is respected in all music genre's, a very big difference.
As far as anybody in the rap game ever tryin' to assassinate my character, that's impossible. You talkin' about a man who has always walked the walk and talked the talk.

there are many artists that deserve this and even more ! winning a grammy makes u cocky and sloppy. i'd rather listen 2 artists that are still strugglin', cos those artists make respectable music.

These sort of things are made for vein self loving people to congratulate themselves on being rich and famous. I do not believe multi millionaire people can make real music anymore. Listen to the Slim Shady EP for example, you think Em could come up with shit like that again? It makes me shudder to think what music will be like in 10 years time. I used to listen to Em alot but his appeal has gone for me now. Still got love for the dude though.

Just to add "put a ring on it" has got to be the most materialistic annoying song ever made. This makes girls think that men need to drape them in expensive jewelry just to keep them, fuck that. There is no soul in music like this.

I agree with, and find it quite enlightening to see that people are narrow minded enough to actually believe that Beyonce is currently making "Soulful" records

Songs like "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" that was previously mentioned, along with others like "Irreplaceable" are bubblegum pop. You listen to the lyrics and you see just how shallow and materialistic they really are. Is she a diva? Yes, Is she successful? Yes, but compare the quality and expressiveness of her music to that of the likes of Alicia Keys and hear/see the difference right away. Madonna is respected in all music genres too but her creativity and artistic ability has been watered down through out the years so much at the hands of money and marketing that she has no prolific status anymore. No one who appreciates the true art of music has confidence in her anymore, and she is someone who is/was a cultural icon globally at one point. Fan bases, consumers, audiences, and popularity mean nothing. Mcdonalds is worldwide, sells to over 40 million a day and rakes in billions, and people like it but is the food quality? Not on your dollar
