That was definitely surreal to hear. I remember, I could never really appreciate his art (couldnt look past his monotone voice) until a friend of mine introduced me to his Jazzmatazz series back in 06..ever since, I've been bumpin almost his entire catalog..R.I.P Guru..we'll keep walking and talking gifted as u told us to.

I woke up after a night of drinking with some friends and my buddy comes over and says "do you know who MC Guru is?" cuz he doesn't listen to hip hop music knows I do/did and I'm like "yeah, he was the MC in Gang Starr" and he goes "he died". Shit blew my mind.
