New Michael Jackson Single Debuts - Akon sings on the duet entitled "Hold My Hand"

New Michael Jackson single debuts. A new single duet recorded by Michael Jackson and rapper-producer Akon goes on sale Monday. The anticipated and already controversial album, "Michael" goes on sale Dec. 14.

The duet, "Hold My Hand," is the first single off the posthumous album. It was first recorded in 2007 and was leaked in an unfinished version on the Internet in 2008. Jackson's Sony/Epic record label said Akon recently completed production on the track.

"The world was not ready to hear 'Hold My Hand' when it leaked a couple years ago," Akon told Reuters. "We were devastated about it. "... But its time has definitely come; now in its final state, it has become an incredible, beautiful, anthemic song." Jackson died in June 2009 at age 50.

Sony released more details Friday about the 10-song "Michael" -- the first album of new material from the singer since "Invincible" in 2001. Two tracks feature rapper 50 Cent and rocker Lenny Kravitz. Another song on the album, "Breaking News," made headlines this week when members of Jackson's family said they suspected some of the singer's vocals were faked. Sony has denied the charges.

it's not a real proof for me, 2pac posthumous featuring are on his album too, but would it means that he really recorded with Dido and elton john

I don't have problem with Mj and rappers because he included rap verses on his songs since 91, the probleme is fifty , and since 2007 i didn't remember that they mentioned to have recorded this song
