    The Dubstep Thread

    Right, it's that time again - time for me to broaden the minds of the Yanks on this site with some decent UK music genres. We've covered UK Rap; this time, the genre is Dubstep, I hear it's taking off a little in the US at the moment, with Eve, Snoop, Xzibit rhyming over the tracks and even the album Wu-Tang Clan: Enter the Dubstep, but here's some of my current favourites. I included a variety of styles...

    Dubstep is huuuge where I live. I cant go on facebook without seeing people posting dubstep videos..I personally think for the most part its shit, some is good though. (small ammounts)

      my friends over do it with that shit, but i like a few things here and there tho i guess

        It is fine music to be fucked up on drugs to, otherwise I wouldn't bother. I haven't done any drugs in like ten years so I guess I don't bother with it.

            fair enough to those who don't like it. I find it's a hard genre to find decent stuff in to be honest, it's a constant mission to sift through the shit to find the gems... But I think it's well worth it when you find a decent tune.

              Okay so I downloaded chase and status, no more idols, because I LOVED the singles blind faith n end credits.. Are there any similar artists to chase n status?

                ^ well Chase & Status are more of a DnB group who make Dubstep every now and again...

                But Pendulum are the most like them, the album Hold Your Colour is pretty good and their latest 2 are ok too. Quite similar to Chase & Status
