Mystikal, who was just released from prison in January 2010 after serving six years on a sexual battery and extortion charge, is headed back to jail.
A judge sentenced the 41-year old Cash Money rapper to three months in jail on Monday for violating his probation following an arrest in February on a domestic abuse battery charge.
βIt was an unfortunate incident between two people who have cared a lot about each other for 10 years,ββ said Roy Maughan Jr., Mystikal's attorney. Maughan also added that his client has two children with the victim.
One of the stipulations of Mystikal's probation was that he remain arrest and conviction free according to The Advocate.
The sentence begins on May 14.
