    On April 19, 2010 the hip hop world lost one of it's most unique voices when rapper Guru passed away from cancer. As a member of the group Gang Starr along with DJ Premier, Guru provided us with many gems that will never be forgotten.

    Guru, born Keith Elam, also had several critically acclaimed solo albums.

              Guru's in my top 5 of all time, rest in peace.
              A lil over a year ago I was in bondage
              & now I'm back out here reaping the blessings
              & getting the benefits that go along with it
              Everythin that's out here for kings like us
              The reason why we like this this jewelry & this diamonds & stuff
              They don't understand is because we really from Africa
              & that's where all this stuff come from
              & we originated from kings

                Man time flys. I remember bringing out gangstar for a sell out tour here in Australia several years ago. Guru was truly one of the most humblest people I've ever worked with.

                Very intelligent guy and a down right good person. Rip
