Following an arrest last week, rapper A$AP Rocky has pleaded not guilty, insisting he didn't try to rob two photogs who snapped pics of him in NYC.
The rapper and one associate were reportedly arrested last Thursday (July 19) in NYC, after assaulting two men who snapped photos of them.
Law enforcement sources said the Harlem rapper (real name: Rakim Mayers) got involved with a verbal dispute with someone in downtown Manhattan, and two other men started snapping photos of the incident, which he didn't like. They approached the amateur photogs ... and a full-fledged fight erupted. The victims suffered cuts and bruises, and one required treatment at a hospital.
A$AP would later be arrested, but was booked on an attempted robbery charge.
According to TMZ.com, A$AP and his first A$AP Bigga Bar$ both pleaded not guilty in court on Friday (July 20), and are both due in court on Wednesday (July 25).
