  • Producer Red Spyda Gives Details on ‘WuBlock’ Album:

Veteran producer Red Spyda recently spoke with AllHipHop.com about the highly anticipated WuBlock collaborative album between Wu-Tang Clan members and members of Hip-Hop collective D-Block.

Red Spyda is one of the featured producers on the upcoming WuBlock album, which will feature artists from both camps, including Jadakiss, Raekwon, Styles P., Ghostface Killah, Sheek Louch and others.

“These are two of the dopest crews in Hip-Hop [and] they still out there doing shows and cutting records,” Red Spyda told AllHipHop.com. “It’s authentic, I’ll tell you this much. The conversation we were having, they was like we want that ‘street s**t. I think its going to be a good thing if you want that hard edge. Cats going in spitting bars.”

Red Spyda, who has crafted tracks for artists like 50 Cent, Lil Kim, Young Buck, Slaughterhouse and B.o.B., also revealed that Jadakiss, who recently dropped “The Consignment” mixtape, is in the studio hard at work on his solo project Top 5 Dead or Alive.

Tonight (August 1), WuBlock will kick off a nationwide tour in Poughkeepsie, New York and will hit 22-dates over the next month, before winding down in Albany, New York.

The WuBlock Album is slated to hit stores in the fall.
