A day before appearing on BET's "106 & Park", where he made his debut as its new host, Bow Wow is being ordered to pay child support for his 1-year-old daughter.
According to TMZ.com, the 25-year-old rapper (real name: Shad Gregory Moss) was in court on Monday (October 1) with his baby's mama, video model Joie Chavis, fighting over exactly how much he's worth and how much he will have to pay her ... every month.
Eventually, Bow Wow voluntarily agreed to fork over $3,000 a month in support for their baby Shai.
TMZ says the rapper told the judge he makes $4,000 a month working as an employee of Cash Money Records. He also testified he leases a Jeep and has a grand total of $1,500 in his checking account.
Despite the claims, he is also the new host of "106 & Park," and will likely have to fork over a percentage of his salary from that job as well. But, he's not due back in court until December, when the court rules on a permanent child support order.
In the meantime, the judge also ordered Bow Wow to pay $11,500 in back child support.
