A trio a powerful executives from different industries are teaming together to create a new entertainment company, named HAND Entertainment.
HAND, which stands for “Have A Nice Day,” is being headed up by sports/entertainment manager Glenn Toby and partner John Rice, Vice President/Chairman of General Electric.
The executive team is rounded out by Cammi Rice, Vice Chairman of Usher Raymond’s New Look Foundation.
Reps for the company said that HAND will launch with a recording budget in the millions. The label has also inked a deal with their first artist, Chase Dreamz.
Chase Dreamz, who is also a spokesman for Usher’s New Look Foundation, also models and is a motivational speaker. He’s working on a new single titled “James Dean.”
Chase Dreamz is currently in the recording studio, working on his untitled album with producers who have worked with artists like Jay-Z, Gucci Mane, DMX and others.
HAND Entertainment will also be looking to sign new talent in early 2013.
