It's clear that there are some close ties between the TDE camp and A$AP Mob. It all begins with Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky. The two were recently on DJ Whoo Kid's show where they discussed their support for one another. During the itnerview, Rocky shared his take on whether Janet Jackson would do the "Poetic Justice" video with Kendrick and K. Dot explained his own wishes for the video.
"On some real shit, I think she'd do it to support the culture," Rocky shared of Janet Jackson's involvement with "Poetic Justice."
Kendrick Lamar took it from there, adding that it would be ideal.
"That's definitely been our idea since day one, since we did the song," he said. "We're trying to put it in the works. "
Rocky went on to explain more about his relationship with TDE emcees, saying that it's not about sales.
"It's genuine," he said. "We're really trying to support eachother as brothers."
