Odd Future leader Tyler, The Creator has revealed three different images that serve as the cover art for his upcoming third album Wolf, releasing on April 2nd.
Revealing the covers on Instagram, the West Coast rapper said that he is "so nervous and excited but more scared" about releasing the LP. "I ALWAYS THINK WHAT IF EVERYONE HATES IT AND IM A FAILURE COME NEXT YEAR. SO TO KTT AND ALL THE OF FANS I LUB U," he wrote.
One cover features a close-up of Tyler's face, while another shows two Tylers: one wearing a "Wolf" baseball cap and the other posing with an inhaler in his hand. The third cover, an animated portrait by Mark Ryden, shows Tyler on a bicycle and an eyeball embedded in a tree trunk.
He also announced the "Wolf" tour on his website. Fans who purchase bundle tickets to the show will receive a copy of the deluxe version of the CD, which features a fold-out poster of the full album cover art designed by Ryden, a limited embroidered patch, a "Wolf" calendar and a 24-page booklet featuring lyrics and artwork. Buyers will also get a pair of exclusive socks.
The "Wolf" tour kicks off Columbus, Ohio's Newport Music Hall on March 12th. Stops on the trek include Brooklyn, New York, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Los Angeles, California. The tour concludes on April 11th at Portland, Oregon's Hawthorne Theatre.
Tyler, who recently collaborated with Miley Cyrus for her upcoming album, initially intended to release Wolf in May 2012 and then pushed it to November. He also had a joint LP in the works with Earl Sweatshirt titled EarWolf. He previously released Bastard and Goblin in 2009 and 2011, respectively.
