  • Eazy-E Planned To Kill Suge Knight, According To Jerry Heller

According to Ruthless Records co-founder Jerry Heller, Eazy-E wanted to kill Suge Knight. Heller recently revealed this in a radio interview, claiming that Eazy wanted to kill Knight and that he feels he "should have let him" do it.

In an interview with Prezident Bejda of The Murder Master Music Show, Heller explained how this conversation took place.

"Eazy said, 'You know this guy Suge Knight?' I said, 'Yeah.' He says, 'Well, I'm gonna kill him!' He said, 'This guy is gonna be a problem and I think I should kill him.' I said, 'Let me think this thing through. First of all, we're doing $10 million a month with six employees. We don't even have a typewriter in the office. We're the most successful start-up record company in the history of the music business and you want to kill this guy? That just doesn't make any sense to me.'"

Heller then explained that he regrets talking Eazy out of it.

"You know something? I should have let him kill him. You know? I would have done the world a favor. He would have done it for sure by himself. He always rolled by himself and he was fearless...I think that he was going to go do it. I took him seriously."

"He was right and I was wrong," he later added. "I shouldn't have talked him out of it. Ruthless would probably still be around. Dr. Dre and Ice Cube would probably still be with Ruthless. It would have been an empire."

Heller co-founded Ruthless Records with Eazy-E and managed N.W.A. but was later dissed by former members Ice Cube and Dr. Dre. Eazy's daughter, E.B. Wright, is now working on a documentary about her father's life. Her doc will feature interviews with Eazy's friends and colleagues. Another documentary, Ruthless Memories, is also being worked on. That film will feature an interview with Jerry Heller.

I dont trust Jerry Heller, and I wouldnt trust Eazy for that matter. They were the epitome of the sleazy, dirty record exec...Eazy chose jerry over his friends and basically he was controlled and manipulated by him..GREED is a funny thing sometimes...

if u watch the welcome to deathrow documentary they talk about how eazy and jerry put Dre into a slave contract...they were working him like a bitch and he wasnt getting paid for it, obviously if u were dre u would hook up with someone like Suge and strong arm the fuck out of them!

Hm, how things would have turned out having Suge killed, probably no Deathrow revolution, 2Pac's life on a different route

Before DR they were trying to kill 2pac and even got him in jail doing time for nothing, 2pac made his own choices and when his time came he left

if it wasnt for suge we would never have had pacs best 3 albums and pac would've been sittin in s jail cell contemplating never rappin again. Suge took care of pac and his whole family including the outlawz who weren't even under contract. It aint suges fault travon lane whispered in pacs ear and pac deceided to beat up a southside crip.

we can argue each point until eternity, but whats really important in life? Selling records or being healthy and alive? i see people saying without Suge Tupac would not be a megastar since no aeom and makaveli, and that dr would not be a dynasty...so what!! I would much rather have tupac make decent music and be alive then to have him die at the age of 25, but at least we got all eyez on me and makaveli, right! LoL

In the end though its not Suge's fault that Tupac died, sure pac was in a tough spot but he knew better and made the wrong choices to many times, and in the end it caught up with him...if he were to stay alive they would put him right back in the pen for violating terms of his bail....people forget he was out on bail, he was not a free man by any means.

Also, my take on the whole deathrow, ruthless thing is this...if there was no deathrow(or at least the dynasty that we know of) there is no gaurantee that dre and snoop and everyone would still be on ruthless. If anything the shady business practices of eazy and jerry heller would cause the label to fuck itself over. Even if suge was killed, someone would end up going to prison for that shit, I still see dre leaving and starting his own label, but I also see Ruthless going bankrupt or something like that....deathrow didnt do things by the book but they had Dre who was the soul behind the music, they had talent...only real talent ruthless had was bone thugs. They could not survive without a mind like dre's because eazy could not make music and he couldnt even rap so it would fold up like all similar labels.

I wonder without Suge Knight, where would guys like David Kenner and Harry-O end up.....i see them trying to workout a partnership with Ruthless records or something along those lines.

Hold up, I came from European country where gun violence is very rare on everyday basis. Actually I have never heard about some1 killing anybody in my city. I havent hold gun in my hand until I was 20 something. While as I see in USA, its very common for especially black men to own guns at early age and every1 knows/heard about some1 getting killed in their street/neighborhood/city. So its not me being racist, but its me being from another cultural environment, where when some1 says hes gonna kill somebody it means he is mad at somebody, but in 99,9% cases he wont even kick his enemy. See the difference?

I CAN (because of what I know about black community) imagine that what Eazy was sayin, it wasnt just words, he actually meant it.
