Recovery, he rediscovered himself.. I think i skip 1 or 2 songs off that album....

All in all i hope its as good as recovery with abit of the slim shady style
I understand when you say it has a special feeling for u man.

Some people grew up on pac, i strictly grew up on Eminem and nothing beats his early work. So it's kind of disapointing when after all these years he comes up with love songs and shitty rhymes. I do dig Recovery but that ain't Eminem. Like Bonity said, it's some Drake/ Lil Wayne crappy level. But right before Recovery he was spitting dope rhymes tho and then he started to scream and rap about fast food lol.

I get where you're coming from dude, but you gotta allow for growth too. Dude ain't 20 anymore, of course he's gonna be different and try new things. I mean lets be honest, Em at his worst is still miles ahead of any current bullshit rapper getting radio play. With that said, i dont think recovery is his best.. its a great album, very different, but solid. IMO his best work is the MMLP. In a new album i would be happy to hear more Dre Production, without the corny ass accents that flooded relapse, and god willing i'd love to see him go back to his roots with Jeff Bass and basement productions. The closest thing we've seen to that generation of Em's work is Underground (from the relapse album). But again, its just random rapping about things for shock value, even though his rhymes are sick, he no longer needs shock value. If pac were still around do you think he'd be rapping the same shit he was 15 years ago?

I agree with you man. It would be weird for a 40 yeard old dude to rap about killing his mom again or something along those lines, even tho he did say some fucktop shit on Relapse, and yes i want to see him work more with Dre and go back to his roots like you said. I guess at this point i'd like to see more stuff coming from Marshall Mathers and Eminem than from Slim Shady. but why cant he more rap like he did on Forever, that was before Recovery. But He said it himself, once he has nothing else to say he'll start making love songs. And what's up with those awkward movements when he performs live. Back in the days i would have paid to see him perform live on mute just because it was thrilling to watch him perform.

I'm with you man, his on stage performance is basically him walking back and forth and karate choppin the air..lol And he ain't even just moving back and forth normally.. he's got the creepiest fucking movements..lol

1996-2002 em is untouchable to me.

Recovery is a good album to me, as I got into shape round the time the album came out so it sits well as good M "em"ories for me lol

I fucking love The Eminem Show ...his first 2 albums were bad only 3 good tracks 50% were just interludes and I fucking hate interludes!!!

dont see how anyone would prefer that over Eminem Show, which some absolute classics on there.
Recovery is the hip hop style I like ...with samples instead of crappy selfproductions

Space Bound is one of the best hip hop tracks I have ever heard!!!

how cant you like tracks like: Space Bound, Going Through Changes, Talkin To Myself, Love The Way You Lie ...dope tracks

Man those songs are the most boring songs to me, crappy modern beats, no melodies, shit chorus' just kill me. there is just something lacking. I cant really explain it.
I listen to songs like Cleaning out my closet, Hailie's Song, and i want to cry, with those songs on Recovery i want to go to sleep or kill the stupid singer. It's just not the hip-hop I know and love, its some emotionless, passionless crap. but thats just me. Only song I like is So Bad, there is actually some personality to his rapping there, and its got a good melody.
