That's like saying, "Oh that football team sucks, they're terrible" and you haven't even checked their season record or watched their games
This isn't a RIP 2Pac & Biggie thread no need to go there.

As I said before, If a song or video comes my way I'm check it out, but I don't go listening out for these dudes.
I'm from the golden era of hip hop. Everybody had their own original sound and style compared to these new dudes.
These new guys come right out of an assembly line. Nothing is hand crafted anymore.

That thought process is, wack.

I base these new guys on lyrical content and if you're doing these mickey mouse rhymes, then I cant mess with you.
After all the work the dudes before put in to elevating it, its an insult to the craft.

Music evolves, did you think Hip Hop was gonna stay in one spot forever?
I never ever thought Hip hop would drop this low....NEVER!!!!!

Many want to rapper, but aren't true rappers. It's an art and these new dudes don't seem to understand that.

This thread wouldn't even be open if it weren't for Hip Hop today, and because of that it's bringing back your admiration for the older generation of Hip Hop, you can hate it all you want, but you love it. Because you wouldn't have ended up hating Hip Hop without loving it first, ya dummies

2 Chainz and Ross aint bad, they got strong verses
and for production - if beat is bangin - then its bangin, it could be great even usin modern methods, e.g. "Mercy", "Show Out", "Money Trees", "Bitch Dont Kill My Vibe"
yall hating on 2 Chainz when Kendrick Lamar raps on trap beats too (take Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe), raps with modern flow and some of his verses are wack as fuck (1 Train from ASAP Rocky's album, he raps with Lil Wayne voice, what the fuck?)
Shit, even Lil Wayne got strong verses sometimes (but for me voice is still ruining them)
and Outlawz are rappin on trap beats too. i bet 2Pac would par on tgem too if he was alive

We know there will never be another pac, but everyone is so fkn garbage nowdays i just dont understand how it gets airplay.
I've listened to big sean to see if maybe there was something i was missing but nope.. then i'm browsing through vevo.com and come across the new Jessie J song (very popish) and he has a verse along with this uk dude named Dizzee. And of course not only did seans verse suck donkey nuts, but this uk dude fucking murdered him. Here is the track below:
Sorry for the rant guys, i figured if anyone would agree with me on this it would be 2pac fans. Big Sean, souljah boy, waka flaka, gucci mane, lil wayne... all in the same category as far as i'm concerned.Originally Posted by Crusty
