With rappers, you just don't know what is true. From fake jewelry to fake boasting about how much money they have in their bank accounts -- most of the time, it's an exaggeration.
As Jay-Z spits on "Verses," from his new Magna Carta Holy Grail album, "The truth in my verses, versus, your metaphors about what your net worth is." So, BusinessWeek decided to take Hov's lead and look a little deeper into the lyrics of some of hip-hop's biggest names, and see just how truthful they are in their raps, as far as money goes, via a bar graph that displays "Actual Wealth" versus "Alleged Wealth."
