A jeweler is suing Drake for the use of an owl design they created, specifically for him.
According to TMZ.com, Michael Raphael of Baden Baden Inc. (BBI) jewelry company was commissioned by Drizzy (real name: Aubrey Graham) to make the pendant in January for $49,204... but then, the rapper took the original design and had copies of the jewelry made for his crew.
BBI is suing for copyright infringement, and is seeking unspecified damages, as well as the knockoffs of the owl pendant to be handed over.
Fans of Drake has seen the the owl used as the logo for his October's Very Own brand for years. He's used it for various OVO merchandise including t-shirts, jackets, hats and hoodies.
It's the second lawsuit filed by Raphael against Drake within the last month. He's also sued the rapper for unpaid stylist fees and additional purchases made on his behalf, totaling $76,490.
