It's no surprise that Eminem's new music is stirring controversy. In his new song "Rap God", he's drawn criticism from Boy George over his use of the word, "fag."
On it, the rapper spits lines like: "I'll still be able to break a motherf***in' table over the back of a couple of faggots and crack it in half", and "You fags are all the same." And even later, raps: "Little gay looking boy / So gay I can barely say it with a straight face looking boy / You witnessing a massacre / Like you watching a church gathering take place looking boy / Oy vey, that boy's gay, that's all they say looking boy."
After reading about those strong lyrics, a displeased Boy George took to Twitter (@BoyGeorge) to voice his opinion directly at Em: "@Eminem Fag? Is this really recovery talk or are you running your own program these days?"
An Eminem fan chimed in, asking the 1980's singer about the comment, to which he responded: "I don't know [Eminem]. I just object to the use of the term 'Fag.' On any grounds but especially from a recovering addict!"
Boy George would also call out media outlets for what he says is an acceptance of Em's use of the word, or the general abuse of the gay community, saying: "Isn't it sad how the media just accepts abuse of gay people? #f***ed"
Throughout his career, Eminem has received backlash numerous times about his use of gay slurs within his music. In 2001, he moved to prove people wrong when he performed a duet of his hit single "Stan" with openly gay musician Elton John at the Grammy Awards. Gay advocacy group GLAAD subsequently issued a statement calling the collaboration and Eminem's music "hateful."

This guy is years late on this whole gay thing. Plus what does eminem drug addiction have anything to do with the word gay.
