Longtime Wu-Tang Clan affiliate, Shyheim, turned himself in to authorities on Wednesday (Jan. 8 ) in connection with a fatal hit-and-run car accident that left a 29-year-old man dead on New Year's Day.
According to SI Live, the 35-year-old is facing a class D felony for leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
The report says Shyheim was driving a friend's 2003 Volvo S80, when he allegedly ran a stop sign and hit Felipe Avila's vehicle and also crashed into a parked Dodge Ram. He's accused of getting out of the car and fleeing the scene. He also left blood behind in the Volvo and the driver's side airbag.
The rapper was already out on bail at the time of the crash, following an April 2013 arrest for gun and drug possession. The case is still pending.
