50 Cent was in the headlines often last summer -- first for his domestic violence case, and then later, for rage-filled text messages he allegedly sent his teenage son, Marquise.
According to a recent TMZ report, Marquise's mother Shaniqua Tompkins claims the rapper hasn't seen his son in nearly two years, following the birth of his second child Sire Jackson.
Tompkins says the last time 50 saw the 17-year-old was May 2012, and hasn't even communicated with him since those text messages hit the 'net.
As previously reported, 50's fight with his son stemmed from a botched visitation attempt. The rapper claims he showed up to Marquise's house in Atlanta to visit, but his refused to answer the door, and them, some brutal texts followed. The messages included: "F*** you stop texting me" and "I don't have a son anymore."
50 later addressed the messages, claiming it was Marquise mother on the other end of those texts, not his son. "That was his mother texting me as him.she sold that to a web site.she hate me for Winning, it's hard to replace me," 50 explained via Twitter, before later claiming he's re-worked his will. "I rewrote my will today now when I pass away all my physical property's and MOST of my money go's to charities and TIFFANY LIGHTY so when I'm done she can be 50cent #SMSAUDIO"
Whatever the case may be, Tompkins says Marquise feels abandoned.
Fif's camp tells TMZ, "50 is saddened by the attention-seeking tactics of his son's mother. He remains a proud and supportive father and feels blessed to have two sons."
