George Zimmerman vs. DMX

He wanted to fight Kanye West, but George Zimmerman will officially take on rapper DMX in his upcoming celebrity boxing match.

According to TMZ, promoter Damon Feldman selected DMX out of 15,000 applicants who applied after Zimmerman issued an open challenge to fight anyone willing to take him.

X previously promised to give Zimmerman the beating of his life. "I am going to beat the living f*** out him ... I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f*** him right up."

The rapper may not run away with the fight though. Zimmerman has reportedly been training hard for months. Plus, he's 30 and X is 43.

The boxing match will be three rounds. However, a date and location have yet to be announced.
