Lawrence Walker, Andre 3000’s father, passed away yesterday (February 12) after suffering a heart attack, according to Straight From The A.
Walker reportedly was chopping wood and suffered the heart attack after he returned inside.
Walker’s house lost power due to the storms in Atlanta, according to the Chicago Defender.
Andre 3000’s mother, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo, passed away in May 2013.
In June, Cee Lo said during an exclusive listening session for the Goodie Mob's Age Against The Machine album in Los Angeles, California that he hopes Andre 3000 can channel his emotions into his work. "I'm hoping this really makes him angry enough to be artful again," Cee Lo said during the listening session. "That's what I want for him."
