Faith Evans details "laying hands" on a couple of mistresses alleged to be having affairs with Notorious B.I.G.
Songstress Faith Evans has numerous lively stories about her relationship/marriage with The Notorious B.I.G. and she decided to put some of them in her memoirs. Keeping the Faith: A Memoir is Evans' recently released book about her life. It brings to the light so many different events she has encountered so far and with those stories come questions about them.
Recently sitting down with Vlad TV, the singer talked about getting into altercations with numerous mistresses of Biggie. Some of the altercations, she says, got physical.
"That was my wild and crazy days," Faith Evans said in addressing a fight she was involved in with a woman after finding out she had an affair with B.I.G. "It wasn't by myself. I didn't go and put the Shmurda on the girl or nothing. I had some accomplices and we probably didn't even hit her... that was just out of line."
She continued by reflecting on some of the decisions she was making at the time and says she regrets some of her actions.
"Especially in that few year period right there with this guy B.I.G. I definitely did some things that were like, 'What was I thinking?'" she said. "[There were] some near-death situations... I was just a little too bold when it came to that man and my heart."
Faith also detailed an incident where she walked in on her former husband and a mistress having an affair. That time she noted that she did "lay hands" on the woman.
Interestingly, Faith Evans also made it a point during the interview to clarify that she and Biggie were married later than the storied seven days of courtship. She notes that it was more like two months after the two had met that they were married, which she also acknowledged wasn't very long.
