• Recommend An Album For Other People To Purchase

I'm always looking for new music Im sure everyone else here is too, especially in Hip-Hop. But due to the long decline of quality music and the rise of garbage. Its becoming harder and harder to find something to listen to without your ears bleeding.

But sometimes you come across a diamond among the garbage and it just floors you. You wonder, why isn't it getting as much coverage as it should? Like its so good that you suddenly have the urge to purchase it as a way of showing support and appreciation for this amazing product.

So I made this thread. Its so we can find new music to enjoy that is ACTUALLY very good.

So no bullshit like Souljah Boy, Drake, Lil Wayne, etc etc. Also try to recommend the slightly unknown albums from slightly unknown artists. or just the ones that are not so popular.

Id like ya'll to post up the name of an album that you feel is worth the money and is not as popular as it should be. It doesn't necessarily have to be Hip-Hop. Any genre is welcome. Even Foreign music.

Try and post it in this order:

-Name of album along with the artists name.
    -Album cover
    -Genre
-Your reason on why you like it and why you think its worth the money. It doesn't have to extremely detailed. you can keep it short and simple since the two songs you post up will do most of the talking.

After that, post up TWO songs that come from the album itself (preferably from YouTube), so as to give us a little sample of what we can expect from the album if we purchase it.

Though having said all that. I doubt any of us are actually gonna purchase shit but what the hell.

And ya'll better do this 'cause I put hard work into getting my English to look good or at least half fuckin' decent. Im at my breaking point lol

    Ill start.

    Album: RetroHash

    Artist: Asher Roth

    Genre: Hip-Hop

    Reason:
This shit is just so laid back. The overall feel is just different. it feels like a Hip-Hop album. A feel good Hip-Hop album. Asher Roth surprised the fuck out of me. I heard his shit back when he released https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYx7YG0RsFY"]I Love College. Beat was good but the lyrics were seriously lacking. The same can be seard for his 2nd single . Sick beat but not so great lyrics. I liked his sound but it just wasn't enough. I dropped his music all together. Figured he'd be forgotten in a year or two.

5 years later. I got a little curious and did a little search on him. And that';s when I heard Fast Life. I was stunned! I couldn't believe it was the same guy. Listened to a few more tracks and then I finally went out and purchased RetroHash. I haven't regretted it once. Such a great album.
