Anyone got better tips for searching for "new"/indie artist?

Anyone here got any ways to search for "new"/Indie music artist? I pretty much either wait for someone I haven't heard of to pop up on this youtube channel (PsychoRealm9) or I dig around youtube and hip hop blogs for singles until something clicks. I mean there has to be a better way right? I've tried spotify and others like it, but most of the people/groups I find are not on those streaming apps.

Only thing I could recommend is going to bandcamp and using the discover option to go through some stuff and see if anything strikes you

I'll give bandcamp a shot. I've only ever used it to check out some beat tapes. Thanks for the head ups
