Fans of turmoil and drama may not be fond of Nas' new game plan. The QB emcee has been caught in some personal disputes recently, one regarding alleged infidelity in his marriage with singer Kelis. While tabloid tales may run wild, Nas says none of that matters in a recent statement made to fans.
"All I want to do is make music and raise my kids. Nothing else matters," he noted.
With Nas saying that his focus is on music and his children, fans can see he'd like to put the other headlines behind him. Earlier this year, a judge dismissed contempt allegations that were previously filed by Kelis after he paid $50,000 in child support.
Part of putting music first may come in the form of the Nas and Damian Marley collaboration. The two have formed Distant Relatives and plan to release that album this year.
