Producer Dr. Dre and rapper/mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs will appear at the Best Buy in Union Square in New York today (May 26th).
The two superstar producers/rap moguls are in the city promoting the Diddybeats line of headphones, which are being sold through exclusively through Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores.
Diddybeats are part of the Beats by Dr. Dre headphone family being released in partnership with Interscope Chairman Jimmy Iovine and audio/video accessory giant, Monster.
Combs added his personal style to the Diddybeat line of headphones, while one time rival-turned-business partner Dr. Dre, helped develop the ear bud’s “powerful sound.”
"Dre and I wanted to design an ear bud that was a combination of great style and powerful sound,” Sean “Diddy” Combs stated. "I am excited to launch Diddybeats at Best Buy because when it comes to electronics and entertainment devices they are second to none. I trust their expertise and am confident that this partnership will be a huge success.”
Diddybeats are priced at $179.95. Dr. Dre and Diddy will be at the Best Buy in Union Square from 5-7PM EST.
