50's former soldier reportedly gets his release, granting him freedom after years of being stranded on G-Unit.
It seems Young Buck's tumultuous relationship with 50 Cent's G-Unit Records has come to an end. According to sources from VladTV, the Nashville, Tennessee rapper will soon announce that he has officially been released from his contract with the label, an obligation which has kept him from releasing new material since being kicked out 50's group three years ago.
On top of said sources, Buck also noted that he had an announcement coming via Twitter.
If this turns out to be true, there is some cause to celebrate on his part. In various interviews, Buck established that 50 was trying to ruin his career, citing his contract as his weakness.
"[He wants] to pretty much destroy my life from a silent-sided way of doing things. That's his angle, and my contracts allow him to be able to do that," he told the Nashville Scene earlier this year.
Now, Young Buck is focusing on the release of his latest project, The Rehab.
