  • Men Pose As Cops, Break Into Teen Rapper's House

The father of up-and-coming, teen rapper Gia Bella has suffered intense injuries after two men invaded his Staten Island, New York home posing as police officers on Tuesday (October 21) morning.

According to New York's Daily News, Gia, who is known for touring with Fabolous and appearing on "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson's dance crew, was not in the home during the time of the attack when impostors forced themselves into the residence allegedly looking to confront Gia's teenage brother. They were confronted by her parents, Virginia and Robert Adamo, instead, and reportedly pistol whipped her father.

Upon fleeing the scene, neighbors recounted the confusion and horror of the rapper's father who attained injuries and excessive bleeding on his head along with the mother's reaction.

"He was covered in blood. He was very pale," neighbor Cindy Campanella told Daily News. "The wife came out of the house screaming at the top of her lungs."

Shortly after the invasion, police were able to capture and arrest one suspect, Carmine Carini, 49, another Staten Island resident. However, he has yet to be charged.

Claiming they were police by shouting "Police, open up" in order to gain entrance in to the home, authorities are still unaware if any items have been stole as of yet.

Unaware of this morning's incident, the 16 year-old rapper has begun making a name for herself with a television appearance on HBO's "The Sopranos" and recording a song with G-Unit's Hot Rod.
