  • The Alchemist Heads To The Kitchen W/ Snoop & Jadakiss, Cooks Up Mini EP

Frequent Mobb Deep producer The Alchemist is getting ready to stir up some new tracks for fans as he prepares the release of his upcoming EP, The Alchemist's Cookbook.

Al recruited a star studded cast of guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Jadakiss, Styles P, CNN, Pusha T and Nina Sky for the six track project, as well as an unlikely pairing of Prodigy and Keak Da Sneak on the track "Al Capone Zone." The reknowned beatmaker is offering the EP as an appetizer as he continues to work on his forthcoming, full-length album Chemical Warfare set to drop in February 2009.

Known for being the sole producer on Prodigy's critically acclaimed Return of the Mac mixtape last year, Al will be releasing the project on Koch Records following up his 2004 debut 1st Infantry which featured guest spots from T.I., The Game, M.O.P., Devin the Dude, J-Hood, Lloyd Banks and more.

In related news, Al is currently on the road with rappers Method Man and Redman touring throughout Canada and the United States with their "Still High" tour.

Hitting popular venues in major cities including Portland, Salt Lake City, Santa Cruz, and Los Angeles, the tour is scheduled to conclude in the middle of November. For a full list of concert dates and to purchase tickets, fans can go to ticketmaster.com.

The Alchemist's Cookbook will be released exclusively on iTunes on Tuesday, November 18.
