With Super Bowl XLV just days away, Lil Wayne -- who many know is a huge sports fan -- is showing the team he's rooting for some major love with the release of a new freestyle he record over Wiz Khalifa's popular "Black and Yellow" hit.
Weezy's new song is called "Green and Yellow," which he unleashed in support of the Steelers opponent's, the Green Bay Packers, on his blog, WeezyThanxYou.com.
On the track, the rapper drops a few verses bigging up the Wisconsin team, spitting lines like: "Money green, yellow broad / Aaron Rodgers, MVP award / This is Green Bay, bitch we go hard / This is Packers country, where your green card?"
"I'm a cheesehead, y'all n****s Cheez Whiz," Weezy exclaims at the beginning of the track.
In the second verse, he uses it to call out the Packers' linebacker and the Steelers' defensive back. "Long hair, don't care, Clay Matthews / We sh**tin' on these fools, no bathroom / Yeah, got a pocketful of big faces / Throw it up, touchdown on IkeTaylor."
Wayne is the latest rapper to hop on the instrumental to Wiz's smash single. Game and Snoop released his own version, called "Purp and Yellow", in support of the Los Angeles Lakers, while Fabolous released "White and Navy" in honor of the New York Yankees, and Paypa recorded 'Black and Red' to show love for the Chicago Bulls.
