Mos Def will be releasing his fourth solo album Ecstatic next month.
The album, which hits shelves on February 9th via Downtown Records, will feature appearances from Slick Rick, Black Thought and Jay Electronica.
The Brooklyn rapper will also be gracing the big screen this year in the comedy Next Day Air.
The film, which is the directorial film debut of music video director Benny Boom, centers on a UPS driver (played by Donald Faison) who unknowingly delivers a package of cocaine to the wrong address and gets tangled up with drug dealers.
Next Day Air’s cast also includes Mike Epps, Wood Harris and Lauren London. The film will open in theatres on May 8th. [Watch Trailer]
