It's good to see CNN covering an event like the BET Hip Hop Awards. It's just another sign how far the genre has come. It also speaks volumes about Viacom, the parent company of BET, being able to market the award show to a broader audience.

However, it would be good if CNN knew who the hell the rappers are that they're interviewing.

After talking with Ace Hood and BET's Stephen Hill, it was time to interview Slaughterhouse. While Joe Budden was speaking Yelawolf's name flashed across the screen.

Come on CNN get it together. They may both be signed to Shady Records, but they're not even the same race.
