  • Album Charts: Weezy Falls Outta Top 10, Jedi Mind Tricks Earns Top 100 Debut

The band Coldplay returned to the top of the Billboard 200 this week, while Weezy drops out of the top 10 and the Jedi Mind Tricks make their appearance with their latest album.

It was a rather slow week for new hip-hop but here's the rundown of the top tier.

Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV falls to #11, selling 29,000 this week, as his LP surpasses 1.6 million to date.

    J. Cole slips to #16 with his debut, Cole World: The Sideline Story, selling 20,000 more units as it reaches nearly 350,000 sold thus far.

And, closing out the top 20 is Jay and Kanye's Watch The Throne. It landed at #19 with 19,000 sold, and passes the 1 million sold mark to reach platinum sales.

Much later, Philly group the Jedi Mind Tracks make at top 100 debut at #92 with their seventh studio album, Violence Begets Violence. It sold 4,400 in its first week. For this LP, the crew -- consisting of Vinnie Paz, Jus Allah and DJ Kwestion -- opted not to work with founding member/producer Stoupe. But instead enlisted a variety of newcomers to help craft its sound. Additionally, the LP boasts guests such as The Outsidaz' Pacewon and Young Zee, and Blacastan.

That wraps things up this week. To cop any of these new releases, head over to Amazon.com.

According to Billboard.com, overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Oct. 30) totaled 5.61 million units, up 16% compared to the sum last week (4.82 million) and down 3% compared to the comparable sales week of 2010 (5.80 million).
