  • New Ja Rule - "Never Had Time" Mega Hit in the Making...

Pain is Love 2 Pre-order pages are up on amazon. January 24th 2012. Here's the latest hit from the album. This sure seems like it could be a mega hit... Judge for yourself.

(since this is planned for Pil2 I won't be including an mp3 at this time.)

As a radio friendly single though that's exactly what you want. While there are harder tracks on the album that I like more, this has the type of catchy-ness that sticks with you and get's a lot of spins. Very reminiscent of "changes" for me. Is it my favorite track I've heard? No, I'd rate Real Life Fantasy, Parachute, Black Vodka, and Superstar, all above this, but this by far is the most radio friendly and catchy-est of the bunch.

Somehow reminds the "Changes", but still a nice track.

It uses the same sample as changes, so that's why it sounds familiar.

Just because a song sounds catchy to some, or got a commercial sounding, that doesn't mean it will be a mega hit. To me it isn't catchy at all, just pop-ish. I hope his album does well though.

All catchy songs are not mega hits, true...
But all Mega Hits Are catchy in some way or another...

This has a beat/hook that sticks with you and is arguably better then several of Ja's other hit records.. (between me and you, etc.) Will it be a huge hit... not likely, however this certainly has as good of a chance as anything else out there, and is leaps and bounds better then a lot of what is common on top 40 radio.
