  • Bishop Lamont: ‘Last Time I Checked I Was Still On Aftermath’

A video from VladTV.com surfaced over the week, that reported that rapper Bishop Lamont had been dropped from Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment label, sparking controversy all over the net.

In response, the Los Angeles based rapper posted his own video, via live stream, in which he vehemently denied the report, calling it a rumor.

"Last time I checked I was still on Aftermath. That's news to me. This isn't the first time this had happened," Bishop said.

Bishop goes on to explain that the rumor was started because he wouldn't grant Vlad an interview.

"N****s' gonna do what they gotta do to get attention because I won't do interviews with the n****," he said. "The n**** was trying to get my number off Twitter. ... It's like 'Wow, n****'s hating because I don't wanna f*** with them?' ... Enough about that, f*** DJ Vlad."

According to the rapper, he's the last man standing over at the house Dre build, and he's still working on music for both Dre's long awaited Detox album, as well as his debut.

"Yes, I'm still on Aftermath. I'm the last dude on Aftermath, like I told you before. It's an honor, it's a tribute," Bishop continued.
